Movie
Turin has always been a preferential relationship with the cinema, having given birth to famous authors of the Italian art cinema and having become in recent years set many Italian films from the "Loneliness of prime numbers" to "First Line" by Riccardo Scamarcio .
National Cinema Museum
The link between Turin and the Seventh Art has become even stronger after the activity developed by Maria Adriana Prolo. Just this activity awakened the local governments by giving life to the foundation that bears the name of M.me Prolo. It created the National Cinema Museum, that opened in its current headquarters of the Mole Antoneliana July 19, 2000. Today the Museo Nazionale del Cinema is a must to be visited place for all those wishing to visit Turin and want to combine fun, culture and visiting historical monuments such as the Mole. This "non-Museum Museum" is open to the public from 9:00 to 20:00 (Saturdays it closes at 23.00) on all days except Mondays. For information about ticket prices and to learn the openings in the special feast days the official website is a very good reference www.museonazionaledelcinema.it.
