Italy is the credle of the arts since ancient times and today is still one of the main worldwide reference points.
Italia2011 aims to provide new cues to its visitors, suggesting always new feelings through ad hoc vernissages or exhibitions.

SILVANA LIBERALI

Silvana was born in Turin and started painting since the early eighties. Acrylic on cloth is the way she uses to express her great passion for mechanic and architecture. She paints futuristic works of art regarding metropolitan areas, where buildings assumes shapes of tweezers, drills, screwdrivers and other mechanical components.
She attends important exhibitions in Europe doing as well a lot of personal art exhibitions in famous Italian and foreign galleries.
Silvana is also a designer, projecting objects and interior decoration, always using industrial wasted material.
In 2009 together with the photographer and artist Marco Sani, kick off the project named (RE)Visions - www.revisionsarte.blogspot.com. The project proposes photos of (re)viosioned subjects, ideal for new style ambients.

L'Estampe. Art Gallery

Since 1994 l'Estampe sells, buys and takes care of the restoration of prints, drawings, paintings and ancient frames. Situated in a Seventeenth century building, via dei Mercanti 3/g and 1/h, close to Piazza Castello and to the most important museums, in the very city center, it's a small collector's jewel. The visitors are welcomed by a precious and joyful disorder of “objets d'art”, and a fine choice of classical music. The frames, ancient and modern, are a true speciality of L'Estampe where conferences and discussions about art history are also regularly organized.
