According to the tradition at the beginning of XIX Century the sweet makeer Giovanni Podio, merging only 3 ingredients: eggs, sugar and Piedmont nuts created this sophisticated and unique sweets.
The Chivasso Nuts reached then the current notoriety thanks to Ernesto Nazzaro and Luigi Bonfante, who has been the one that modified in 1922 the packaging of Chivasso Nuts giving them the famous pink pack, used till today.
